A note from the founder

Why we built this

After a long day at school, the last thing my son Isaac wanted was another therapy session. The scripted exercises, the repetition, the clinical feel — it all felt like work, not childhood. So I built games where his voice was the controller. Say "pop" and the balloon pops. That became Speech Formation.

Then I noticed something simpler. When Isaac drew, he was calm, proud, and completely himself. No prompts, no goals, no one measuring anything. Just a kid and a screen full of colour.

And when he finished, he wanted to show someone. His grandmother. His cousins. The world, honestly. And I had a choice every parent knows: hand a six-year-old my phone, with everything on it, or say "later" and watch the moment pass.

Paint'N'Post is the third option. A drawing app that does exactly three things after the drawing is done: delete it, save it to our family's own private library, or post it to the accounts I connected. The first two, he can do himself. The third needs a six-digit code from the authenticator app on my phone. He knows this. He brings me the iPad and says "post it." That's the whole design.

It's built by Grapevine Software, the company I've run for twenty years, and it's the youngest cousin of everything else we do: Speech Formation, for children finding their voice, and Grapevine Academy, for young people finding their footing. Your family can stop at the drawing. Or you can follow the door.
